Q: Is a Mazda 3 sport with power windows and locks and a/c worth it for $400 for 60 months in Quebec?
I went to a Mazda dealership and he told me he was giving me the best offer he could give me and he was only making $100 on the car
he said without a/c and power windows and locks it would be $365 for 60 months
its a basic Mazda 3 2008.5
thanks alot
edit: sorry I forgot to mention its automatic
A: If it's an automatic then just make sure the purchase price is somewhere around $17,000
That would be a good price to pay for that vehicle.
Q: What would be the better choice; buying a new Mazda 3 (i-sport) or get one a year older with <20,000 miles?
I ask because the price difference on a Mazda 3 is not that great and I care about mileage more than anything when buying a used car. I also do not want to go more than a year old. Resale value does not concern me.
A: you can figure about $1000 dollars per year depreciation, and about $1000 per 10,000 miles driven. Your used car should cost $ 3000 less and all the warranties are still good. Gas mileage is probably the same.
Q: 2007 Mazda 3 Sport: I have poor radio reception on certain local FM stations - any similar problems/solutions?
I am in Toronto area. I get poor reception on stations such as 91.1, 94.1, 96.3 and 99.1. Mazda claims my radio is "within spec".
A: well you could go to most audioshops and buy a digital antenna they are way better then the regulars and they provide better reception you dont really get stations with static sound they usually cost around 15 to 20 dollars but hey i got one and i think it was worth it
Q: 07 Mazda 3 I Sport or 08 Mitsubishi Lancer ES?
I have to choose between these two cars. My friend is selling her 07 Mazda 3 for $16,700 its already got 22,000 miles on it. At this dealership there is an 08 Lancer for $15,999 and its got 12000 miles on it. Both have keyless entry and pretty much the same thing. Which one should I get and is the Lancer really that bad as everyone says it is?
A: I would get the Lancer. It is cheaper and it's entirely japanese so it should be a very reliable car. It's also brand new. So if it were up to me I would get the Lancer but that's just me.
Q: Mazda 3 sport saloon or jaguar x-type se?
which car is the best? mazda 3 sport saloon 2.0l petrol
OR
jaguar x-type se 2.0l diesel.
your opinions guys would be much apreciated!!!!! thanks
does anyone here own a mazda 3 sport saloon? or an x-type? what do they think of it?
A: Mazda 3 saloon..economical to run, fun to own, sharp steering, excellent reliability (see Edmonds, Parkers Manual, JD Power survey etc and you get the picture).
Parts are cheaper than they used to be, also they are quite light so you get good m.p.g. Downside could possibly be that they are light so you can end up with poor traction in snow, however that really depends how you drive it. Basically, Jaguar is just a Ford with an upmarket body shell, and prices are quite low for them.
As for owning one, I went for the bigger Mazda 6 TS2, after owning a super-reliable Mazda 323F for 5 yrs (and never having any problems with it). Love Mazda and would seriously be hard-pushed to buy another make of car in the future!!!
Q: Should I get a 2007 Sction TC or a 2007 Mazda 3 Sport???
I am in the market for a new car, out of these two cars, what should I get?
2007 Scion TC - 18k - 161hp
Mazda 3 Sport - 18k - 156h
Scion is a relatively new company, but are made by toyotas. So not sure how reliable they would be.
I am looking for somethign good on gas, but quick.
Mazda 3 Sport
A: Get the scion tc, you'll get more for the money.. Mine is fully loaded leather ipod radio and it was 20400.
Q: Whats the diff. between the Mazda 3 i sport - Mazda 3 iTouring & the Mazda 3 s Sport?
I want to trade in my car for a Mazda 3, but I don't know which one out of all of the 3's is a better car... What are the differences bettwen the 3 cars??
A: Both i models have a 2.0L engine that gets 23/31 for fuel economy. They're cheaper but still very nice cars.
The i sport is the base model. It comes without power locks and windows and without A/C. You can add those on, but I'd move up to the i Touring Value Edition instead.
The i Touring Value Edition comes standard with power options and A/C, and you also get foglights and alloy wheels instead of smaller steel wheels with wheel covers. If you are looking for the best fuel economy, this model is the way to go. It has the 2.0L engine and is rated at 23/31, plus it has the standard features you want. If a dealer offers you a plain i Touring, I'd pass on it unless it's a great deal. It's the early 2008 model, and it's missing some of the nice features the iTVE has.
If you want better performance, move up to the s models. They have the 2.3L engine, and the fuel economy is still decent at 22/29. The 2.3 engine has more get-up-and go. There isn't much difference between the s Sport and s Touring, just some trim differences.
The s Grand Touring is nice. It comes with heated leather seats, a trip computer, halogen headlights and LED taillights, and other features that just make it more fun to drive. You can also upgrade the sound system to Bose if you go for the moonroof/6-cd changer package.
If you're interested in a sedan, I'd go with either the i Touring Value Edition or the s Grand Touring. They're the best value for your money depending on what you're looking for (great car at a lower price or top of the line).
Have fun choosing! They're great cars.
Q: If i have a stock mazda 3 i sport can iput a turbo kit in it?
or do i have to get new suspension and brakes
A: you can put a turbo on it..but best thing to do after is get brakes and suspension..all that power and speed gotta slow down some time
Q: How may litres left in tank when low fuel light comes on? in a mazda 3 maxx sport?
A: About 8 litres.
Note that you will 'run out of gas' when there is still some left in the tank. I would try to make sure that I could fill up in the next 50km.
Q: 2007 Mazda 3 S Sport or Honda Civic coup EX?
Im looking for a sporty car thats fun to drive. However i drive 30+ miles to work each way. The mazda 3 is really tempting with its horsepower and handling and look but the Civic has its gas mileage, standard moonroof, and safety features. And i like to drive fast. Which should i pick?
A: My opinion 100 % Mazda.
If you are concerned about gas mileage go with Mazda3 i.
It's a 2.0 l engine.
Mazda 3s is a 2.3l
If you really like the speed check out mazdaspeed3
Zoom Zoom
Go for test drive before you make the decision and do not let sales people make you do something you do not want to do.
You will be driving this car .
You be the judge.
Q: Mazda 3 sport or a Nissan Sentra? Help I narrowed it down.?
Which car should I get? I think I like the look of the Mazda better??
I don't have kids.
A: Sentra SER - Should be about the same pricewise and a much more modern looking vehicle, The new sentra is much in line with current European styling and is slowly catching on here (think BMW, Cadillac CTS, XLR) Mazda with its curves is a very dated look and is tired uninspired styling.
However Sentra repairs - especially for minor cosmetic collision will likely cost more as this seems to be a common Nissan problem.
Q: Is a mazda 3 sport a girl car, guy car, or both?
A: Well the coupe is really a girl car. More girls drive it than men. Men drive the hatchback more than woman....Hope that helps..
Q: mazda 3 sport or pontiac vibe/toyota matrix?
whats a better bet?
but i thought the vibe and matrix are the same car!
oh well...my bad
A: the Mazda3 will be more fun to drive.
the Vibe/matrix are mechanically the same with a bit different
badges and trim.
the Vibe can be bought for thousands of dollars less then the matrix because ppl don't trust Pontiac like they do Toyota.
Q: 2008 mazda 3 I sport exchange.?
I have a 2008 mazda 3 I sport 4 speed automatic / Sport shift. I bought it a few months ago and really want a 5 speed manual, so im going to trade it in for the exact same model, but just a standard transmission. How much do you think I would end up paying? It has almost 5,000 miles on it and is in new condition. I payed $14,325 from a deal they had.
A: Financially, your best bet is to keep the car, but if you're unhappy driving it, it's not worth it.
If you can find a new 2008 still, I bet you could get it for around $13,000. A 2009 (when they hit the dealer soon) will cost you closer to $14,000. Those are the costs outright, before your trade-in.
It's worth a trip to the dealer to ask about the trade-in, but I think the most you'd get is maybe $12,000. They can sell it as a certified used vehicle, so the dealer might want it. I think you should also list it for sale privately and see if you get any offers. You'll make more money selling it yourself than trading it in.
You might see if any local dealers have used models with standard transmissions. I know my dealer had some when I ordered my Mazda3 in June.
My estimate: if you trade it in for a new car, you'll probably owe about $2,000. You might come out nearly even if you can get ahold of a used 2008 instead.
Q: Mazda 3 sport vs Mazda 5?
what are the differences between those two cars?
are they good or should i look into something esle?
A: Both are good cars, but very different in some ways.
The 3 is a 4-door sedan or hatchback that seats 5 maximum and will get you about 30 mpg.
The 5 looks more like a minivan that will seat 6 comfortably and you will average about 25 mpg.
If you have a family of 5-6 and need something reliable, inexpensive and good on gas, I would definitely consider the 5. The best thing about the 5 is that you are getting a minivan for the price of a mid-sized car.
If you are single or are going to be driving around town by yourself or with 1-2 other people, the 3 would be more practical for you.
Other recommended cars similar to the 3 include the Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, Ford Focus, and Nissa Sentra.
