Q: toyota supra?
i found a toyota supra for 6,000 non turbo. lt looks in good condition and it has 70,000 miles on it does 6,000 dollars seem to good to be true?

A: Sounds like a decent deal to me, have somebody look it over though.

Q: How much would i expect to pay for a 96-03 toyota supra?
How much should i pay for a 1996 - 2003 toyota supra? Whats the lowest price, and what does the price range from?

A: 93 to the time they stopped making them which I think was 98. You'll be looking anywhere from 15,000 and up. I shopped around for one myself and I just gave up. Way to pricey.

Q: How hard is it to do a transmission swap on a 94-98 Toyota Supra?
I recently bought a Automatic 95 Toyota Supra. All the Stick Shift ones were really expensive and I figured I can by a manual transmission and swap it out. However I don't know if it's going to be that easy. My friend did a tranny swap on his 87 Toyota cressida and said it wasn't too hard. All you needed was another different motor mount for the front and the clutch and cables. How much will it cost?

A: List of parts:transmission, flywheel, clutch and brake pedal assembly, ecu, driveshaft, and don't forget all the bolts....any car built after 95 may have an irreversible check engine light after a swap like this.

Q: What would make a 1983 Toyota Celica Supra keep blowing the EFI fuse every time I turn the key to ACC position?
1983 Toyota Supra keeps blowing the EFI fuse when I turn the key to Acc not even trying to start it?

A: A power wire is shorted out. When you turn on the switch, it sends power to the wire, which is grounding out, and popping the fuse. My guess would be a wire got hot and melted the insulation off and it's shorting out on you. Good Luck.

Q: can you import a toyota supra from the UK?
i would like to import a toyota supra from a 93-98 model from the united kingdom. is it possible to bring it to the U.S.? is their a website i can go to that will tell me the process of bringing the car here?

A: It is possible, but you'd need enough patience/time and money to do so... An imported vehicle would have to comply with either US or Canadian safety/bumper regulations and US or California emissions standards in order to be imported (unless it is a show/display car or for racing, or allowed by the Dept. of State for foreign armed forces or diplomats), as the Supra is not in the list of other non-conforming vehicles. Here are the rules for importing into the US, as well as a list of registered importers (who'll modify the car to make it legal in the US): http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/CARS/RULES/IMPORT/ (you may want to contact a few of these importers to get some idea of pricing) see also: http://www.epa.gov/otaq/imports/ http://www.epa.gov/OMSWWW/cert.htm http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/brochures/fast_facts/ffvr29.htm http://www.cbp.gov/linkhandler/cgov/newsroom/publications/trade/importexportcar.ctt/importingacar.doc http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/travel/clearing/automobiles.xml http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/trade/basic_trade/importing_car.xml http://www.cbp.gov/linkhandler/cgov/newsroom/publications/trade/iius.ctt/iius.pdf Duty due on the vehicle is likely to be about 2.5percent of what you paid for it. The customs import bond is likely to be at least the vehicle purchase price, plus 1.5x the vehicle purchase price to the DOT, while waiting for the vehicle to be brought into compliance. Q: where can i find a headlight conversion kit for my '86 toyota supra?
I have a 1986 toyota supra 3.0, it has the stock flip up headlights, i am looking to convert the flip up into the stationary headlights, i have seen them before on other cars but cant locate where to buy or even view for that matter, if anyone could locate a site online with pics and prices that would be awesome, thanks in advance. let me reiterate, i want a conversion kit, i do not want to jerry rig my car to make them stationary, i already leave them up thats not the problem, i would like the conversion kit which totaly eliminates the pop up headlights.

A: I've owned 5 MKIIIs and I was never able to find anywhere that sold a headlight conversion kit... i know what you mean; I think it looks a lot sleeker with them down... I'm not sure if they offer anything like that for the older Supras though. The only one I ever come across is for the 3rd gen RX-7s. You could try asking on SOGI (Supra owners site) and maybe someone on there would be able to help you. EDIT: They do not have the headlight conversion at Suprastore.com, trust me, I have lived on that website (an many other Supra sites)... they do (I believe) sell the HID headlight conversion, and perhaps the different shaped headlights (circles as opposed to the squares) but that's about it.

Q: What kind of motor oil for 1982 Toyota Supra?
I've got a 1982 Toyota Supra with over 330,000 miles on it. I don't know all that much about cars and almost nothing about motor oil (other than how to change it). I've been using 10W-30 in the car but I'm starting to think I should use something else. If I don't want to pay 4 bucks a quart, what weight/type of oil should I be using?

A: I suggest go to Wal mart and get the high milage oil and go with 10w40 if it's hot where you are if it's cold in winter then go with 10w30.

Q: How much is an average 1989 Toyota Supra that's Turbo?
I want to buy a toyota supra that is turbo, and I want to know what is a good price.

A: I've owned 4 of them. I haven't paid more than $1500 on any of them. All were running, driving cars, in fair-good condition. Get ready for the fun part though, whenever you need to repair them. Toyota no longer maintains replacement parts in stock for these vehicles. So, as example, a transmission will cost you around $4,000 through the dealership. ECU is another $1000. Sure, you can buy used, but you usually end up having to replace the used parts again shortly. They're great cars, but a pain in the *** to maintain.
